916groove started back in 2007 as an experimental promotional team in Sacramento, Ca. MC QBall and ekin2k hit the streets and Hip Hop shows networking by the means of video coverage of live shows and commentaries to help bring unity to the Sacramento music scene. They furthered their ventures by creating their own show named "The Session". The Session has showcased over 80 different artist in the Sacramento Area and tours cruising the Northern Cali. 916groove.com moved to Austin, Tx  in 2009 to connect Sacramento, Ca with "The Live Music Capitol Of The World". Austin, Tx. After a successful run in Austin MC QBall and ekin2k went their different directions in June 2009. Ekin2k has now returned to Austin, Texas for another fun run.

I learned Aikido from two Senseis: Yoshimitsu Yamada Shihan and Seiichi Sugano Shihan, both of whom were uchi-deshi of the founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba. In 1996 I was accepted as a live-in-disciple (Uchi-Deshi) by Yamada Sensei at his dojo, New York Aikikai. I moved in as a deshi on January 1, 1997.
